The completion of the construction of an office and business building in the center of the Abkhaz capital was almost immediately marked by a pleasant event: it was noted with favorable attention not only by the local community, but also by the community of professional architects, having received the Grand Prix of the Ural Festival "White Tower" -2013.
Indeed, the building, designed by architects Andrey Ukolov and Ekaterina Osipova, cannot but be recognized as a successful example of a combination of delicacy and architectural intrigue. The modern facade harmoniously blended with the historical buildings: the facades, covered with thin shading of light lines, suggest a mirage that happened on a hot street in the southern city of Sukhum. The striped surface is enlivened by the asymmetrical pattern of "window" openings, similar to the Tetris game screen.
In a warm maritime climate with a rich green landscape, enclosing structures with structural glazing turned out to be an excellent solution for facades, the erection of which became possible thanks to the facade structure made of aluminum of the TP-50300 series and EK-89 sashes. Large translucent planes without visible fixtures create the illusion of a solid and airy volume, helping to visually neutralize the height of a house located in an environment of low-rise historical buildings.
The curtain facade made of aluminum profiles and sheets, in the development of which TATPROF also took part, performs the function of sun protection and hides the stiffening diaphragms located behind the glass. The earthquake-prone territory of the Abkhaz capital dictates the search for effective and safest solutions that help to realize the creative ideas of architects. All cassettes of the hinged facade of the Guduo Plaza business center are made according to individual drawings.
