We all understand that the outdated model of the Russian Post enterprises does not correspond to the modern realities of an ever-accelerating life. Today's service standards are incompatible with the fact that parcels lie dead in postal and sorting offices from three days to a week - they must go to the addressee the next day at the most. In this sense, postal workers have someone to learn from - federal retailers have been using a network of their own logistics centers for many years, which are more than necessary for the postal department today, as well as automated sorting centers.

How many of them there will be - seven or eight or 31, will be decided by the top management of FSUE Russian Post, as well as the question of what equipment to provide new divisions. Now the issues of construction and the associated problems of choosing a general contractor, coordinating sites for logistics centers are topical. It is equally important to resolve the issue of accelerated construction, reliability, relatively low cost of projects and their implementation.

Of course, you can take advantage of the proposals of traditional capital construction (for example, block and monolithic), but this is costly and time-consuming, and it is not a fact that during the construction and installation work, they will not rise in price. In addition, traditional capital construction will require considerable additional costs for external and internal finishing.

At the same time, pre-fabricated buildings based on metal frames and three-layer sandwich panels (TSP) are in increasing demand in various sectors of the domestic economy.

TSP is a rigid structure of two steel claddings with a polymer coating, connected, as a rule, with a mineral wool or polyurethane foam core. The panels have really excellent heat and sound insulation characteristics, since a panel with a thickness of 80 mm in these parameters is equivalent to a meter-long brick wall. “RTDs are designed in such a way as to minimize the likelihood of the appearance of so-called“cold bridges”, so they can be freely used in any geographic region at operating temperatures from -600C to + 600C. The thickness of the insulating layer can be from 50 to 300 mm. With its correct selection for a specific climatic zone, an optimal energy efficiency of the building is achieved, which leads to a decrease in operating costs, says Sergey Yakubov, head of the department of facade systems and enclosing structures of the Metal Profile Group of Companies, the largest Russian manufacturer of facade and roofing systems.

Today on the Russian market there are various types of TSP, the choice of which depends on the specifics of the project and the purpose of the building. For example, for construction in urban areas or in an industrial area, where logistics terminals are often located, Industrium TSP with 200 micron Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra cladding from Tata Steel (UK) would be a good choice. Corrosion resistance of the coating according to the classification of the European standard EN10169-2 is assigned to the RC5 category (very high). This indicates that even in an aggressive technogenic environment of an industrial metropolis, sandwich panels with steel cladding with such a coating will serve for a long time (the manufacturer's warranty is 30 years). Thus, a high return on investment in the development of postal logistics will be ensured.

Another interesting solution for fast and efficient logistics construction is Airpanel DFT with a polyurethane foam (PPU) or polyisocyanurate foam (PPI) core. Today, polyurethane foam is the most widespread filler for DFT in the world, with excellent thermal insulation characteristics. The thickness of the panels ranges from 50 to 300 mm, which allows them to be used for construction in the coldest regions. At the same time, the weight of Airpanel DFT is significantly lower than that of analogues with a mineral wool core, which simplifies their delivery to remote construction sites. This is especially true in the case of pre-fabricated buildings, since their construction can be carried out at any time of the year. Also, the use of Airpanel reduces the load on the supporting structures, which is especially important when building on permafrost.

Polyisocyanurate foam is a type of polyurethane foam with special additives that increase fire resistance. According to the fire technical regulations, non-combustible Airpanel with a polyisocyanurate foam core can be used in the construction of buildings of II-V degrees of fire resistance.

In addition, this solution can be used at facilities with increased requirements for moisture resistance of premises, which is ensured by the high tightness of the panel joints. This property, as well as fire safety, is one of the main factors that make the choice of Airpanel optimal for the construction of postal logistics centers, through which a large amount of cargo and correspondence in cardboard and paper packaging passes, which is equally afraid of fire and water.

The advantages of prefabricated buildings are obvious in terms of saving both time and money.
