The Metal Profile company - the leader in the production of roofing and facade systems in Russia - is holding the Metall Project competition for the best project using three-layer sandwich panels, sandwich panels of element-by-element assembly and Metal Profile curtain facades. The competition is open to specialists from design organizations, architectural workshops, private architects and designers from Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
Acceptance of applications ends on September 30, 2014.
The jury of the competition includes representatives of the Union of Architects, the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, specialized universities, as well as specialists in facade and enclosing structures from Metal Profile.
Experts will evaluate works in 4 nominations:
- Projects using three-layer sandwich panels for special purposes: Agrarium (DSP for agricultural facilities), Industrium (for industrial buildings), Sterilium (for rooms with increased requirements for sterility).
- The embodiment of facade solutions.
- JV PS will save the world! (projects using sandwich panels of element-by-element assembly);
- The most creative project (non-standard, creative solutions in the architecture of objects).
There is also a special Audience Award.
Each site visitor will be able to vote for the project he likes and help the contestant win a prize. For the victory in this nomination, Metal Profile is granted a trip to the UK. In other nominations, plotters are awarded for the first place, 3D printers for the second place, and laptops for the third place.
