At the end of 2016, the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM) summed up the research of the markets for building materials from thin-sheet coated steel in 2015. According to the data analysis, the Russian Company Metal Profile was named the No. 1 manufacturer of steel roofs and facades in the world.
In 2015 Metal Profile Company produced:
• 49 million sq. m. of steel roofs, consisting of metal tiles - 26 million square meters. m. (53%) and corrugated board - 23 million (47%);
• 36 million sq. m. of facades, most of which consists of corrugated board - 29 million square meters. m (81%).
Thus, Metal Profile Company has become a leader among the world's manufacturers of steel roofs and facades.
In 2015, the galvanized steel market was subject to volatility. The global steel market as a whole showed a negative indicator for smelting for almost a year, the rate of decline in 2015 was the highest in the last 15 years.
The decline in steel consumption as a whole (-3%) and negative dynamics in the global economy of the largest consumers (primarily Chinese) led to a fall in the galvanized steel market (36.6 million tons).
The leading domestic manufacturer of products from thin sheet steel, Metal Profile Company, has been the absolute leader in Russia in the processing of polymer and zinc coated coils since 2002.
At the end of 2015, the Metal Profile Company again confirmed the title of the No.1 manufacturer in the world in all its main industry areas:
• for the production of corrugated board;
• for the production of metal tiles;
• for the production of steel drainage systems, as well as the # 1 manufacturer on the sandwich panel market in Russia and the market for ventilated facades in Russia.
