Three 12-storey buildings surrounded the famous Surf Club - an indoor club built in 1930 in the "Mediterranean" style, where Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Sinatra, Iranian shahs and Winston Churchill used to relax and have fun. But in recent decades, the Surf Club has lost its status as an elite establishment and has fallen into disrepair.
Now, as part of the new construction, it will be restored and will open for the first time to everyone (previously it was possible to get there only by special invitation). Two residential buildings with 150 serviced apartments will be erected nearby at the Four Seasons Hotel, whose 90-room building will be located nearby. The area of 3.6 hectares will be occupied by parks and gardens. An indoor club, restaurants, spa and other facilities will also be built.
The area of the apartments varies from 110 m2 to 740 m2, and the ceiling height reaches 6 m. The 3.7 m deep balconies will be a continuation of the interior thanks to the sliding glass doors. The opening of the complex is scheduled for 2016.
