The museum has a very bright and interesting architecture: the rays of its central facade are similar to the Victory salute.

Everything in the new building is symbolic: both the location - near the obelisk "Minsk - Hero City", and the architectural forms:

- Images of tragic military events are placed on the facades facing the Victory Park. These are monumental memorial forms that seem to be crumbling, tilted towards the west, from where troubles and war came to us. At the same time, it is also a movement that was opposed to the war and led to victory. There is another theme: the mirrored façade facing east. It reflects Victory Park, its nature, peaceful state, greenery, trees, landscape, - explains Victor Kramarenko, chief architect of the building of the museum of the history of the Great Patriotic War, twice laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Belarus.

Different walls of the museum have both positive and negative slopes, so the facade cladding presented a rather difficult engineering task for the builders:

- This design requires a more serious attitude to the facade suspension system, since there are heavy loads, which means that the responsibility of the builders is greater, - said Nikolay Okatov, Deputy Director of the company "Run Building", which was engaged in the installation of facades.

The system helped to solve such an extraordinary task of facing the facade of the museum.

ALUTECH ALT150 with hidden fixing of porcelain stoneware. By the way, keromogranite was not hung according to the standard scheme, when one tile is attached over another, but sparsely, as in brickwork. Such a solution is non-standard and difficult to implement, but, embodying the architectural concept, it was impossible to act differently.

- It is good that ALUTECH offered such a system on time. There are similar systems in Europe and in Russia, but our Belarusian system is not only no worse, but also surpasses the imported ones in its characteristics. It is thanks to her that we managed to realize this complex and interesting architectural task, - Nikolay Okatov admits.

He also notes that the building of the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War was created in accordance with the global trend: the museums that are now being built in Europe also have inclined planes and cut solutions.

By the way, it became possible to implement such original architectural ideas thanks to modern facade systems: 10-20 years ago it would have been much more difficult and more expensive to implement them, if not impossible. In addition, modern materials will allow the museum to do without major repairs for many years - the service life of facade systems and other building materials is about 50 years. If, however, the reconstruction or expansion of the museum is suddenly needed, the facade can be dismantled without damaging the ceramic granite tiles and then reassembled, and the old aluminum structure can be sent for melting. It is, firstly, economically profitable, and secondly, it is environmentally friendly.

- We are very pleased with the result of our work at this facility. Our company has mastered new installation technologies, special equipment was purchased - now we are ready to implement, together with ALUTECH, similar interesting solutions at other facilities, - said the representative of Run Building.
