The House A + project in Yekaterinburg is being implemented by companies with extensive experience in energy-efficient construction in Russia. The organizers of the project are the development company "Ecodolie" and the company VELUX. The developer is a manufacturer of large-panel houses Magnum House. General partner - TechnoNICOL Corporation, a supplier of complex building systems. Also the participants were DuPont, Deceuninck, Schneider Electric, Enervent, Asweg Engineering and Berezakeramika Trading House.

The main task of the implementation of the "House A +" - proof of the possibility of building a modern comfortable energy-saving turnkey housing with reasonable economic indicators. Moreover, it takes into account not only the primary cost of construction costs, but also operating costs, which will be borne by the owner of the innovative house in the future. They take into account both the cost of utilities, and the cost of renovation with finishing and other work required to maintain the property for 10 years.

As far as utility costs are concerned, the estimated value of heat consumption for heating is 124 kWh / m2 per year. Thus, heating of House A +, with an area of 155 square meters, will cost 5,668 rubles. in year. The cost of hot water supply will be 4010 rubles, at the rate of 88 kWh / m2 per year. Solar collectors will be used to reduce the cost of hot water supply. The large surface of the house is oriented towards the south for the most efficient use of passive solar energy. According to the calculations carried out by the project consultant "Institute of the Passive House", "House A +" exceeds the SNIP standards for thermal protection by 71% and corresponds to the energy saving class A ++.
