This is not the first successful collaboration between Wienerberger and the KASKAD Family. Ceramic blocks Porotherm 51, Porotherm 44, Porotherm 38 were used in the Domodedovo Town project in the near Moscow region. This environmentally friendly material allows you to erect walls without additional insulation, preserve the natural climate in the interior and provide good sound insulation.
Wienerberger also supplied Terca Milano and Odd Knokke facing bricks, produced at the Belgian plant of the concern, to the site. The houses in the village look attractive and extraordinary due to the combination of two different colors of hand-molded facing bricks in this project.
The technology for the production of such bricks has hardly changed over the centuries. However, the process of making a durable and sustainable material requires special dexterity and craftsmanship. An experienced craftsman makes an average of 700 bricks per shift. Each brick turns out to be unique, inimitable.
