The two-storey building is located in a green area, next to a new park, and is intentionally open to the outside. At ground level, it is pierced by a "village square", on the second tier there are four atriums. The living quarters are grouped into eight “communities,” four on each floor. Each such "node" includes rooms for 13 guests, a dining room and kitchen for them, and one employee; each of the "communities" has its own coloristic solution to facilitate orientation in space. The residential care facilities are centrally located to reduce the distance to them from anywhere in the building.

The comparatively complex layout created a light-filled interior with a variety of perspectives, a “stimulating” environment for the occupants. In addition, each room has a large window with a seat-sill heated during the cold season, which provides a connection with the surrounding landscape. There are also recreation areas inside and outside the building, including two small gardens open only to residents of the building. All this together is intended to create a homely, "friendly" atmosphere.

The choice of material serves the same purpose. The entire above-ground part of the building is made of wood, with the exception of the main staircase made of reinforced concrete. Austrian larch was chosen for the facades, cross-laminated timber for the frame. During the development of the project, the concepts of fire safety and resource conservation were carefully thought out: the building complies with the PassivHaus standard.
