The new residential complex Microcity "In the Forest" is located in close proximity to Moscow and at the same time is surrounded by a forest landscape, which is so lacking for the inhabitants of the metropolis. Designed as a full-fledged urban space with a well-thought-out infrastructure and a well-developed territory, Microgorod offers its residents schools and kindergartens within walking distance, underground parking, high-quality finishing in apartments and, importantly, guarantees the use of only safe, energy-efficient and durable building materials. When choosing products for thermal insulation of houses, the project developer, the Rose Group company, gave preference to the fireproof and environmentally friendly ROCKWOOL materials.

Therefore, we used ROCKWOOL stone wool materials to insulate our houses,”commented Alexander Nuzhdin, head of the Rose Group's tender department.
The project used a wide range of ROCKWOOL products. Roofing materials RUF BATTS V and RUF BATTS N were used to insulate the roofs, ALU WIRED MAT 80 mats and ROCKWOOL cylinders were used to insulate equipment and pipelines, sound insulation in apartments is provided by FLOR BATTS floor slabs. However, the developer paid special attention to the facades of houses in Microgorod.
“There is not a single façade in this project - all are combined: wet, with cladding, with ledges. Therefore, almost all of our suppliers consulted us on their materials. For example, ROCKWOOL experts took part in the development of complex units, finding solutions in non-standard situations,”says Vladimir Saaryan, General Director of Ormix, which installed facades in Microgorod. The project used facade stone wool slabs FACADE BATTS, as well as double-density slabs FACADE BATTS D and VENTI BATTS D, which speed up and facilitate the installation of plates, reduce the load on the building structure.
In order to create a unique image of each house, the developer company attracted the SPEECH architectural bureau. Sergey Tchoban, managing partner of the bureau, shared his opinion on the project: “In the Microcity project“In the forest”we tried to embody the idea of a modern European city, where different addresses have different architecture and each facade is original. This approach gives the impression of a living urban fabric. The special emphasis on the facades made us pay special attention to the selection of building materials that would contribute to the accurate reproduction of our design solutions. In my opinion, the selected materials helped to accomplish the task."
Thanks to the efforts of hundreds of specialists who thought through all the details of the construction of a new microdistrict to the smallest detail and carefully selected contractors and suppliers for it, the Microcity "In the Forest" will combine the convenience and comfort of urban life with the advantages of living in harmony with nature.
