This week the results of the competition for the best design of the arcade of the business center "White Gardens" (Inter Space: White Gardens Arcade) were announced. Let us remind you that the winner was to be chosen from among 19 shortlisted participants. The jury awarded the first place to the project of the Russian-Italian architectural group IAW RUS. Also, the top three included the Dmitri Design studio (Great Britain) and the team of the domestic bureaus XYZ Architects and Open Design. In the near future, the organizer of the competition, the White Gardens business center, plans to start implementing the winner's project.

IAW RUS (Russia, Italy)
The project called Starry Vault proposes to create a "starry firmament" of LED-lamps under the glass roof of the arcade. The main advantage of the proposed solution is that the color and brightness of these lamps can be changed depending on the season, time of day, and the theme of the event. Thus, you can easily transform the space, set the desired mood. For the convenience of visitors, the authors offer new outdoor furniture, and in order to attract them here, a protruding luminous visor has been created from the side of Lesnaya Street.

Dmitri Design (UK)
The main focus of the Mirror White Garden project is on multifunctional platforms covered with wood. Various events can be held here: concerts, presentations, lectures. The platforms can also serve as a resting place for visitors to the business center. Another attractive object for guests is the mirror sphere, which, according to the authors, will become a favorite place for selfies, thanks to which information about the arcade will spread on social networks.

XYZ Architects + Open Design (Russia)
The Red Trumpet is one of the most extravagant projects that participated in the competition. The architects proposed to fit a huge bright plastic pipe into the space of the arcade. It will be possible to walk along it, take interesting photos. The jury noted the originality of the idea and the bold contrast with the architecture of the White Gardens. The authors are sure that such a solution will help get rid of boredom, have fun, and provide a flow of visitors to the arcade, since the pipe will already attract the attention of all the townspeople passing along the street.
