This year, within the framework of the Perspektiva festival of young architects, two competitions of ideas were held: Housing without Borders for the best project of a residential complex for New Moscow, which would meet modern standards for organizing living space, and Electrolytny Boulevard, the results of which - in following material. 30 entries were submitted to the Housing Without Borders competition. Students and young professionals under the age of 35 could take part. The jury noted the good graphic presentation of the projects, their meaningfulness and relevance.
Below are the works of the winners.
First place
Modulor project
Authors: A. G. Korotkov, A. A. Melnichenko, E. I. Zakablutskaya, A. S. Muravyov
The authors tried to develop the most simple and unified residential block, which will not only be convenient and economical, but also allow the formation of various and interesting objects from an architectural point of view. The project demonstrates the ability to create comfortable living conditions for citizens: to ensure high-quality functioning of the transport system and, at the same time, a comfortable environment for residents.
Second place
The concept of a multifunctional complex
Authors: Ilya Yusupov, Valentin Smirnov, Evgeniya Ukhorskaya
The concept of the complex is based on the mobility of its components, the possibility of their transformation and adaptation of residential modules to the needs of residents. Both horizontal links in the form of transitions and vertical links in the form of stairs and elevators are provided between the modules. The complex has the infrastructure necessary for life: household and commercial facilities, children's educational institutions, spaces for walking and recreation.
Third place
Spaces for individuals and society
Author: Arseny Lebedev
The task set by the author was to design a space that would be attractive to residents and profitable for investors. Basic principles of the project: low-rise buildings (buildings no higher than five floors), lack of cars inside the block, clear functional zoning. An interesting solution was the transformation of stairs into public spaces, because, given the cold Russian winter, it is most comfortable to use closed areas for communication, meetings with friends and holding various events.
