The famous architect of the 20th century Le Corbusier believed that it was the window and door openings that determine the architecture of the building: “The history of architecture is the history of the struggle for light, the struggle for windows; the whole history of architecture revolves exclusively around wall openings. In his writings, he largely anticipated the trends in the design and construction of buildings of the future, and with them the principles of the development of the urban environment and the formation of functional aesthetics based on the rational synthesis of materials.

Trends in expanding the visibility of windows and panoramic glazing are pushing architects to fresh solutions for the appearance of facades. However, in practice, such decisions should be focused on the person, not pose a threat to his life and comply with safety requirements. The problem of accidentally falling out of windows and unreinforced balconies remains relevant, especially in the summer. The number of victims is growing every year, among which the overwhelming majority are children. According to statistics in Russia, about 600 children die every year as a result of falling out of the windows of multi-storey buildings. 38% of accidents occur with children under 4, according to Safe Kids Worldwide, a nonprofit.
It is important to understand that every child is a small explorer, moreover, quite active, so in no case should he be left unattended, especially at an early age. To protect him and himself from unfortunate consequences, GOST R 56926-2016 was introduced in Russia, which regulates the requirements for translucent structures of residential buildings. Also, since 2018, a law will come into force in Russia obliging to install only windows that are safe for children. The Ministry of Construction of Russia declares the requirements that must be met within the full life cycle of a building, from the development of a draft design to the moment of delivery and subsequent operation of the facility.

The RPE 35 external safety railing is an elegant addition to any window. Its manufacturability lies in the ability to combine an optimal fit and a high level of comfort.
The system is a transparent screen on light profiles without visible fasteners and strongly protruding elements, it is practically invisible, retains the appearance of the window and does not contradict the original idea of the architect. The profiles are made of aluminum, therefore they are strong, durable, weather-resistant and environmentally friendly. RPE 35 is a versatile system: it is possible to use various types of laminated and tempered glass infills with a thickness of 8 to 16 mm and a height of up to 1100 mm, which provides additional wind protection characteristics. The system also provides for the option of installing a vertical grating instead of a translucent filling, if necessary within the framework of an architectural project. But the main feature of this product is that it dissolves the border between indoor and outdoor space, does not obstruct the view and provides additional security.
Internal fencing system RPI 23
The internal enclosing structure RPI 23 follows clear lines and perfectly organizes the space of balconies and loggias, without taking away a significant part of their area, and withstands the level of loads provided for by SP 20.13330.2016.
The height of the system is from 1200 mm, and the pitch of vertical elements is up to 110 mm, in accordance with GOST 25772-83. This ensures the formal and architectural consistency of each project and guarantees exceptional technical and aesthetic performance through a sleek modern appearance, no visible fixings and no sharp corners. There are three design options: standard, with horizontal railings and with a comfortable window sill.
