Hand-molded brick "Donskiye Zori" appeared a little more than a year ago, but has already managed to win admirers among private developers and architects who willingly use it on high-profile buildings. Now an object has appeared in Rostov-on-Don, the authors of which preferred this series of hand-molded bricks. On Pushkinskaya - the central and one of the most beautiful streets of the city - a residential building in the English style Greenwich Hall is being built. The construction of a nine-storey monolithic-brick building is in full swing, the house is gradually being built - it is expected that the first tenants will move here at the beginning of the new year.
The facades of the house are faced using the Bavarian masonry technique. Hand-molded bricks "Donskiye Zori" are produced in Russia and have dimensions designed specifically for the domestic market (250x120x65). The bricks are fired according to an old recipe in the Hoffmann multi-chamber ring kiln, which appeared in the middle of the 18th century. They keep the secrets of the handicraft production of their ancestors and give rise to a dialogue between modern buildings and domestic traditions. The obverse of each brick is marked with hand-made marks.
