The implementation of any architectural project begins with the selection of building materials and, of course, special importance is attached to the external decoration - facades. At all times, from stately imperial buildings to modern private buildings, when choosing materials for facades, the priority is given to beauty and durability.
Sometime at the beginning of the 20th century, Moscow mansions were in no way inferior to their "brothers" in Vienna, Paris and Glasgow in terms of the quality of facades and decorative details of windows, cornices and firewalls. And this is natural - basically, it was, along with natural stone, good hand-formed bricks and clinker shaped products. In the Soviet period, brick was only a building material, closing the plans of the five-year plans and not pretending to be architectural creativity. Likewise, the first private country houses of the late nineties, built in brick, often became the object of ridicule because of the obvious architectural "ugliness". Of course, in such cases it is almost generally accepted to blame the architects and complain about the lack of taste among the customers, but the main problem was in another - the limited range of facing bricks on the Russian market.
A qualitative change in the situation has occurred only in the last 10-15 years thanks to the activities of Russian companies - suppliers of products to European brick factories. Hand-molded bricks from Germany, Belgium, England can be seen today in Moscow and St. Petersburg at many buildings by Sergei Kiselev, Sergei Skuratov, Mikhail Fillipov, Evgeny Gerasimov and other famous Russian architects.
European products have not disappeared anywhere and still remain the standard of high quality. Moreover, the obvious growth of the market and the attractiveness of high-quality, durable and diverse products from Europe and England pushed our entrepreneurs to manufacture new types of general construction brick products in Russia (large-format stone KERAKAM SuperThermo 38, etc.), and to organize the production of beautiful facing bricks - namely, hand-molded bricks.
In 2015, KIRILL, which has been successfully supplying ceramic and wall materials to Russian construction sites for 20 years, offers its customers a new product for the Russian market - hand-molded brick “Donskiye Zori”, which is not inferior to foreign “competitors” by any objective technical indicators. and is manufactured to Qbricks quality standards. The collections "Stepnoy", "Divnogorye", "Starodonskoy", "Demidovsky", "Tanais" have already been presented, and the color palette of the plant's products from the Rostov region is constantly expanding in accordance with the recommendations of the architects.
It should be noted that hand-molded bricks "Donskiye Zori" are produced in the traditional Russian format 250x120x65, and this is important both in design and in the production of construction and installation works. As you know, ceramic bricks consist of highly plastic natural clays, fired at an elevated temperature, this is a natural environmentally friendly material. The domestic analogue immediately showed excellent frost resistance - more than 200 cycles (F200)! This means that it is able to withstand any climatic records of the Russian winter that still happen. Frequent sudden changes in temperature are also not scary for houses with such cladding, so Donskiye Zori are well suited for finishing both private cottages in central Russia, and high-rise buildings in Moscow and objects in the northern regions.
There is already a novelty that will pleasantly surprise the architects - these are highly elongated thin bricks of the crossbar format 500x95x37. The crossbar can be used for restoration, on walls with irregular shapes, as well as as a designer finish in combination with standard facing bricks.
KIRILL offers both a warehouse program and custom deliveries for large projects. Naturally, the price for Russian hand-molded bricks "Donskiye Zori" is much lower than foreign counterparts. Purely economic factors associated with current currency trading reports and pricing patterns are far from the only argument in favor of a Russian manufacturer. The first results of the practical use of the Donskiye Zori brick at the facilities also suggest making such a choice.
The quality of the facade finish remained at the same level as that of those who prefer centuries-old traditions and buy similar products from Europe at a significantly higher price.
