Loud cases of fires that have occurred only in the last two or three years confirm that fire safety should be one of the most important criteria when choosing building materials. In this case, an important role is played by thermal insulation, on which the reliability of the structure depends, and in the event of a fire, people's lives.
As a manufacturer of non-combustible insulation, ROCKWOOL stands for uncompromising fire safety and invites everyone to take part in the "Test the insulation for combustibility" campaign. If you have any doubts about the flammability of the thermal insulation material used at the construction site, or you are just going to buy insulation and want to make sure you have made the right choice, ROCKWOOL will help you determine the flammability group of the thermal insulation by sending the material for testing to an accredited laboratory.
“It's no secret that counterfeit and counterfeit products remain the main threat to the fire safety of buildings in which we live and work. Unfortunately, it often turns out that the certificates indicate characteristics that, in fact, the material does not possess. The risks are aggravated by the difficult economic situation, when the easiest way to reduce costs is precisely due to building materials. By initiating the campaign "Test insulation for combustibility", we strive to raise awareness of the fire safety of materials both among professionals in the construction industry and among private consumers, which will contribute to a responsible attitude to the issue of fire safety of buildings and structures on the part of all participants in the construction market ", - comments Marina Potoker, CEO of ROCKWOOL Russia.
To participate in the promotion, you must write to [email protected], indicating your contact details and the name of the thermal insulation material for testing. After that, you need to provide the material itself in undamaged packaging, as well as a copy of the Certificate of Conformity for this material and copies of documents confirming its purchase. Next, ROCKWOOL will transfer the insulation to an accredited laboratory, in which tests will be carried out to determine the flammability group of this product. Upon completion of the tests, the participant of the action will be provided with a protocol of quality tests.
Customers of construction, general contractors, contractors (all interested participants in the construction process), private consumers, all individuals who purchased this material in Russia can apply to test the thermal insulation material. Tests to determine the flammability group are carried out in accordance with GOST 30244-94 for a period of up to one month from the date of receipt of the material. The laboratory research is funded by ROCKWOOL.
The promotion is held from November 3 to December 30, 2016. You can read the full terms and conditions at the link:
