This year "Archstoyanie" invites the participants to reflect on the topic "How to live?" and develop your own version of the minimum space for life (MPL).
Alexander Brodsky invented Villa PO2 - a wooden house for 10 people, sheathed on the outside with concrete slabs (such as are commonly seen on fences).
Bureau A-GA together with the director Yuri Muravitsky will present "Kibitka" - a mobile unit that combines living space, vehicle and theater stage. Art group "Alycha" at the festival site will build "Headquarters": both a residential building and a mini-ramp for skateboarding in the bosom of nature.
Architectural bureau "Khvoya" offers as PJ "House with a chandelier" - a building, the key element of which will be an elegant lamp. The chandelier illuminates both the interior space and the area around the house, it can be seen from the street. The rest of the room is securely hidden from prying eyes by walls.
"Kennel" by Victoria Chupakhina will become a symbol of unity (or at least an attempt at rapprochement) between man and animal. Both the one and the other will be able to hide from external stimuli in a kennel house made of branches and dog hair
JS "Rozhdestvenka" is going to give out shovels and other equipment for planting trees to everyone. The result should be a small garden. And Krasnoyarsk artist Alexey Martins within the framework of his project "Be together" offers to gather the participants of the festival around the bonfires.
Not only artists and architects are puzzling over the answers on a given topic, but also representatives of other creative professions. We will tell you why - in addition to art objects - it is worth going to Nikola-Lenivets this year.
We remind you that the festival is open: July 21-23.
Start on 21.07, at 16:00, and the full program (very rich) is here.
Tickets can be bought on the Archstoyania website, the cost is from 3000 rubles (there is a special price of 999 rubles with visiting only the last day of the festival).
Music
At the twelfth festival, music will act as a link between visitors and the surrounding landscape. The organizers promise that the soundtrack - akin to meditation practice - will allow visitors to take a journey to themselves and to nature. The line-up of the music block was prepared by the team of the Science and Art cultural center.
The key figures of the music block will be the American Huerco S, who plays ambient music, and the multi-instrumentalist and improviser from Lebanon Rabih Beaini.
Representatives of independent labels were invited from Russian artists: GOST ZVUK, John's Kingdom, Udacha, Klammklang, Echotourist.
Performances are also expected by the jazz / krautrok band Indirect and experimental musician Nikolaienko; both participants are from Ukraine. Russian psychedelic duo Mårble and electronic musician Vtgnike will play their music at the festival.
The ethnographic program will be presented by the Khyeguej Gup ensemble from Kabardino-Balkaria.
In total, about 50 musicians from the USA, Europe, former Soviet republics and, in fact, Russia will play on two stages of the festival.
Performances
Groin will present his project "Forest School", which will occupy the space of the Lazy Ziggurat, built in 2014 by the "Pole-design" group. Classes at the school will be held daily. Artist Sergey Katran as part of the performance "Children of geniuses rest in nature" decided to repeat the experiment of Diogenes. Residents of cramped apartments who have escaped into nature will be offered to imprison themselves in barrels. In contrast to the textbook symbol of voluntary isolation, round holes are cut in the Katran barrels, which makes the exposed part of the body a sensitive receptor.
In an interactive one-act micro-opera Katya Shipilova "Variations of Passions" viewers will have to act as co-authors: they will be able to remake the score as they wish, adding absolutely any text there, changing the pitch, timbre and volume of the performance. Musical accompaniment will be provided by a bell and Tibetan cymbals.
"Kibitka" workshop of A-GA and Yuri Muravitsky use as performance areas: for three days, guests of the festival will be able to watch the actors' rehearsals. The result will be a play that will be shown on the last day of the festival.
Lectures
There will be a lecture hall at the festival, during which the speakers will tell about their vision of the task set by the festival. For example, the director of films of the "writer's cycle" Roma Liberov (he shot a documentary about Brodsky, Dovlatov, Olesha, Ilf and Petrov) he is looking for an answer to the question in his immediate environment in someone else's and his own experience.
Historian and religious scholar Konstantin Mikhailov suggests looking for a solution to the problem in the format of a game, namely: to imagine how he lived and what questions the priest asked in Novgorod Rus. Journalist and Film Critic Alisa Taezhnaya examines the topic in a slightly different plane - "How to live for today"; the answers are suggested to be drawn from the works of contemporary filmmakers.
Chief editor of the portal about education
"A piece of chalk" Nikita Beloglazovets will talk about how to live with children and what psychology, pedagogy and new technologies say about it. Editor of the site “1917. Free history " Serafim Orekhanov invites you to reflect on how our compatriots lived exactly a hundred years ago, when there was a revolution in the country. Smart home developer Nikita Selednikov, will tell about what problems in the field of creating new dwellings have already been solved, and what engineers have yet to invent.
Cinema club at night
The night film screening (screenings from 21:30 to 2 am) is organized jointly with Moschino and has two venues. The selection of films was made by young film critics from Moscow and St. Petersburg (Alexey Artamonov, Vladimir Lyashchenko, Maxim Semenov, Alisa Taezhnaya, Sultan Usuvaliev, Kirill Adibekov), but the list itself is still kept secret. It is known that the pictures will be shown in their original language with subtitles.
