This 54-storey building is located close to the seaside in Sweden's third largest city. The project is based on the Calatrava sculpture of the same name. A concrete bar with lifts and stairs connects the nine cubes that make up the building's volume. On the lower floors there are office premises, in the six upper cubes there are 147 luxury apartments, the rent of the smallest of which is about 1,400 euros per month.
In honor of the completion of construction, an exhibition was opened next to the building, dedicated to the process of creating a project, the design features of the Torso, the advanced technologies used in its infrastructure, and interior design.
The new building is located in a prestigious new area of the city, where the authorities are encouraging the construction of original residential buildings with sustainable use of natural resources.
