The Green Balance house in the village of Nazaryevo near Moscow became the first object that European researchers visited as part of the global project Le Tour des Possibles to collect the most successful energy-efficient technologies in the world.
French researchers Paul Cimetière and Thibaut Buessler, who are spearheading a new research project, visited the home built by ROCKWOOL in 2011.
The implementation of the following principles helps to achieve a high level of comfort in Green Balance: minimization of energy consumption, increased sound insulation, comfortable microclimate and original design. This project is an example of the fact that building an energy efficient home is available to everyone. The main technological solution during the construction of Green Balance was the use of ROCKWOOL stone wool insulation, installed in all walls, as well as in the roof of the house. The optimum temperature in the premises is maintained, first of all, also through the use of competent thermal protection. The house is assigned to the highest - "A" class for energy efficiency. Average energy consumption per year per square meter is 60% lower than the standard.
The goal of the global study "Le Tour des Possibles" is to collect the most successful local initiatives aimed at preserving the environment through affordable energy-saving technologies, and popularize them among the population.
Based on the results of the six-month study, it is planned to release a documentary film in nine countries of the world, which will be presented to the general public. The results of the study will be proposed to the French Government for inclusion in the state program to improve the energy efficiency of buildings.
