In St. Petersburg, the construction of a tourist and hotel water tourism center - "Lakhta Plaza" is underway. The issues of comfort and safety in the cube-shaped hotel building were approached very thoroughly.

The new complex is located on Primorsky Avenue, near the park of the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg, on the shores of the Gulf of Finland. On a plot of 39 thousand square meters. m there will be a hotel, a yacht club, entertainment and health centers. The architectural ensemble of the multifunctional complex will unite 6 buildings from 8 to 25 floors high. At the moment, the construction of an 8-storey hotel has been completed, the facades of which are decorated with decorative French balconies and stained-glass windows in aluminum structures. The cube-shaped apart-hotel has 420 rooms with panoramic views of the bay.

The complex is decorated with natural and environmentally friendly building materials. Thus, the thermal insulation of buildings, necessary for the durability of the structure and comfort in the premises, is made using non-combustible materials from ROCKWOOL stone wool. For the insulation of hinged facade systems with a ventilated gap, VENTI BATTS D double density slabs were selected. The slabs have a combined structure and consist of a rigid upper and light lower layers, therefore the material is less weight and is convenient for installation. When installing VENTI BATTS slabs, it is possible not to use an additional windproof film, which further increases the fire safety of the building.

In systems with a thin plaster layer, FASAD BATTS D plates were used as thermal insulation on the outside of buildings, which are at the same time the basis for applying a decorative coating. The material is also created using double density technology, which makes it possible to carry out insulation in one layer, which means that it can reduce the number of necessary fasteners and significantly reduce the duration of work.

The roof requires special attention during the construction of buildings, since during a fire it becomes a source of increased danger due to a possible collapse. Therefore, to insulate the facilities of the complex, ROCKWOOL non-combustible stone wool was used, mounted in two layers: from below, lightweight slabs RUF BATTS N OPTIMA, and from above - rigid RUF BATTS V OPTIMA. The roof of the building will be protected from atmospheric influences and possible fires, since the stone wool fibers can withstand temperatures up to 1000 degrees. In addition, plates from the RUF series are distinguished by high resistance to mechanical stress, the ability to maintain properties in a wide temperature range and a long service life.
