The park, which the architects from the AZON group in their project call Yurak Idel, that is, "Heart River", will become an annex to the Ufa Mega. In this way, its leadership wants to remove from the shoulders of the townspeople the solution to the issue - to spend a free day shopping, or do they still want to relax and take a walk? Similar projects are being implemented in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and Rostov and are popular: not only due to the visitors of the complex and residents of new neighborhoods adjacent to the shopping center, but also due to high-quality content. In Mega Park in Kudrovo, for example, there is a skate playground and a wooden playground, which is rare for St. Petersburg, and event content is included in the collections of leisure publications.
The Ufa Mega is located separately - on the bend of the Agidel (the Belaya River, to be more precise, but the Bashkir name is more poetic; many, of course, remember the song of Yuri Shevchuk). It is separated from the river by a federal highway. Behind the shopping center on the site of the former state farm, a microdistrict "Bashkir Flowers" is being built. The city center is 15 minutes away. The architects of the project would like to make a large park in this place, which would attract residents not only of the city, but of the entire region, but so far an area of two hectares has been considered.
The park will “envelop” the corner of the building, deliberately contrasting the pronounced relief and free lines with the flat and asphalted territory of the shopping center. The architects were inspired by local riches: the winding bed of the Agidel River, the recognizable silhouette of Mount Shikhan, and national ornaments.
Two key elements are a pond, the shape of which resembles a heart, and a "river" - a winding path that allows you to wander through the park in any direction, from one functional area to another.
In front of the main facade there will be a platform for fairs and festivals - with a stage, an amphitheater and paths paved with chipped granite, which should create the atmosphere of an old shopping street and help slow down the eternally running city dwellers. Universal wooden modules can be both commercial trays and sheds for rest. Gazebos, pergolas, navigation steles will be decorated with ornaments.

A wooden embankment will be built around the pond with a waterfall, and part of it will not be fenced off: a depth of only 20 cm will make water accessible and safe. To make the park an all-season one, they plan to arrange an ice track in winter, build snow towns with labyrinths and a slide for skiing.
Behind the pond is a sports ground with a hockey rink and a warm locker room. This "unnatural" part becomes a logical continuation of the covered gallery, where a cafe with outdoor tables, waiting areas and a small shop will be located.
Landscape solutions also refer to local culture and nature. The “fluffy border” of cereal plants around the park resembles a fur edging, while ripples of river water and honeycombs are reflected in the geometry of the paving pattern. Among other things, the architects offer, and the customer supports, environmental solutions: the earth masses obtained during the construction should be used right there on the site to create relief, rainwater and snow from the roofs and coverings of the park should be collected to fill the pond and water the plants.
The park is scheduled to open in autumn 2020.
