Of the total of 208 London properties nominated for the award, the Royal Institute of British Architects jury selected almost half - 93 buildings of various sizes and functions, from elementary schools and memorials to residential areas and industrial renovations. On May 15, 2018, the best buildings in London of this year will be announced at the RIBA headquarters, each of which will then be able to apply for the Sterling Prize - the "title" of the best British construction - along with winners of other regional awards of the institute.
We publish twenty of the most interesting buildings from the London shortlist.
