The editors were unable to receive drawings and photographs of the interior for publication: we apologize.
The house is located above the cliff next to
The Presidential Palace, the new Rike Park and the Musical Theater-Exhibition Hall located there, designed by the Fuksas bureau.
The interior is organized around the courtyard - the open core of the building, but the premises are also facing the southern facade overlooking the historic part of Tbilisi across the Kura River. This side of the building received balconies-terraces and a "skeletal" structure framing this panorama.
The house is enclosed in a concrete shell in "a state of dynamic transition to its immediate surroundings," the architects explain. The northern façade is adjacent to small-scale residential buildings, to the east it is bordered by the Presidential Palace garden, where security considerations had to be taken into account.
