The DULUX brand has released an innovative line of paints "Easy to Update" for those who have always shaded before the complexity of the process: glue, sand, prime, varnish, sort out all the materials, find them and buy them. Now, if you have an idea to paint something - a floor, a wardrobe, window frames, a door, children's toys, it will be easy to do it yourself. Not only easy, but also pleasant.
"Easy to Renew" paints do not require a primer, they are applied even to the previously painted surface, dry in 4-6 hours. They are easy to level, the surface is easily obtained smooth. The paint is safe: it is water-based, has a minimal amount of organic compounds, and is almost odorless. That is, you can even work with children: why not paint the cubes in pastel colors, and after a month not make them black and white?
However, you should not treat Easy to Renew paints as “amateur” paints: they form a durable wear-resistant surface comparable to alkyd enamels.

three products, each for specific surfaces. Furniture and Wood gives a matte, factory-made finish. The coating is resistant to stains, scratches and chips, it does not leave fingerprints, but if desired, the surface can be washed. The paint is suitable for all types of wood: chipboard, chipboard, MDF, even for lacquered panels.
Simple steps
For work, you need a synthetic bristle brush and a roller for water-dispersion interior paints. The surface can be sanded, wiped with a damp cloth and dried, the paint must be mixed before use. First, paint over small parts and joints with a brush, and a roller is better for wide surfaces.
In most cases, two coats are sufficient; for a particularly bright color, a third can be applied. Two coats of paint are completely dry in 12 hours. The coating becomes as strong as possible 14 days after staining, so at first it is better not to actively use or wash the object. One liter of paint is enough for 12 m2.

the DULUX palette can be an inspiration in itself - just choose the shade you like. A contrasting or very bright color will turn an ordinary chair into a main accent. If you paint the furniture in the color of the walls, then there will be a feeling of unity and coherence of both individual elements and the whole space as a whole.
The paint is also suitable for old furniture, but it is better to work with it first: remove the handles and other protruding parts, lightly sand the surface with medium grain sandpaper, wipe with a damp cloth and leave to dry. For fine work, you may need a 2 to 3 cm brush, but usually an 8 cm brush is sufficient for any task.
For furniture, you can use the popular color block technique. For example, simply by dipping the legs in paint, or by painting the back. Do not forget to seal the border of the two colors with masking tape, then the joint will turn out to be very even. It is not necessary to make all legs of the same color or completely symmetrical, the main thing is to stay within the framework of a harmonious color scheme.
The rest of the paint can be used for small items: frames, boxes or shelves, toys. And here you can give yourself free rein in everything: draw freely, apply stencils, use masking tape to make geometric patterns.
