In modern residential buildings, more and more often premises on the ground floors are planned as non-residential. There are shops, cafes, sports and entertainment facilities. So that the noise from the operating equipment is not transmitted through the ceilings to the apartments, on the first floors of such premises, a floating floor design is required. This will provide residents with acoustic comfort, and the owners of the premises - full compliance with the requirements of regulatory documents.

FLOR BATTS I stone wool slabs are designed for acoustic floating floors. They have dynamic characteristics that meet the requirements for noise protection and belong to the class of high performance acoustic insulation cushioning materials. The material is specially designed for sound insulation in building structures of floors of any type of buildings to protect against noise of industrial and ventilation equipment, motors, pumps, compressors.

Withstands compressive strength1 at 10% linear deformation, not less than 50 kPa, the reduced impact noise reduction index under the floor slab increased to 32 dB at a thickness of 50 mm. The use of acoustic floors with FLOR BATTS I slabs will provide the required normative indices of the reduced level of impact noise (SP 51.13330.2011 "Protection against noise").

“Production facilities are one of the most acoustically problematic. Demands for high-quality sound insulation for such facilities are growing. This is why ROCKWOOL's research and development has focused on acoustic solutions for the past two years. Thus, the result of the research work of the company's Development Center was the innovative Power + Acoustics technology, thanks to which it was possible to improve the sound insulation properties of a number of products, including FLOR BATTS I boards,”commented Natalya Zhdanova, specialist in the development of acoustic and sound insulation solutions.

[1] The strength of a material refers to its ability to resist loads acting on it without breaking. When analyzing the strength properties of a material, tensile, compression, or shear loads are considered as loads acting on it.
