Participants need to provide ideas for solving the housing crisis in London. These can be options for expanding existing residential buildings or options for new pre-fabricated housing. Proposals should be flexible - with the ability to implement in different areas and at different scales. The best ideas will be published in a book following a series of Bee Breeders contests.

Tropical house
Participants are encouraged to design a residence for musicians and artists on Montserrat Island. Previously, there was a well-known music studio here, where they recorded albums by Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney, Elton John and other famous artists. But almost 25 years ago, the island was seriously damaged by a volcanic eruption, and even the necessary infrastructure has not yet been established. Contestants must figure out how to breathe new life into the island and again attract people from the world of creativity.

Shelter in a ghost town

Private public spaces in London
The competition focuses on the privatization of urban land in London. Today, there are many such territories in the British capital, and the quality of their arrangement, as well as the degree of accessibility for the townspeople, depends entirely on the owners. Participants need to propose the idea of converting the courtyard of the Coal Drops Yard into a full-fledged public space, which will allow them to understand the potential for the development of numerous private public spaces throughout the city.

Observation tower at the Kurgi farm
Kurgi farm is located in the Northern Biosphere Reserve in Latvia. Rare breeds of horses are bred here and protected from extinction.
