The basement and stylobate parts of the renovation objects in Moscow may begin to be landscaped. This was announced by the head of the Department of Nature Management and Environmental Protection Anton Kulbachevsky, noting that the opinion of future residents of houses will be taken into account, this concerns the area, the nature of landscaping and a set of plant species.
“I think that the landscaping of the basement and stylobate part will appear, among other things, at the facilities under the renovation program. There, too, a lot of stylobate surfaces are designed. In the future, these areas can be counted towards greening, as part of the restoration of green spaces, which are withdrawn from circulation in the course of urban planning activities. Among other things, such an object can be credited to an investor or a developer if there is no space, there is nowhere to stick a traditional object, said Kulbachevsky.
He noted that the features of the projects will depend on the specific site where the landscaping will be carried out. “At the same time, the opinion of future residents of the houses will be taken into account. This also applies to the area, and the nature of the landscaping, and the set of plant species,”explained Kulbachevsky.
According to the president of NRU MGSU Valery Telichenko, such projects must have an economic justification. “It is important to understand who will maintain the operation of such sites. It is necessary to work out this issue as well,”added Telichenko.
