This year we were able to defend graduation projects in a classical format, unlike many other institutes where they took place online. This is very important because the graduate gains experience in public defense of his project and feedback from industry professionals who were included in the commission. This year, the work of our graduates was evaluated by such experts as the candidate of architecture, associate professor Tatyana Shulika, editor-in-chief of the Architectural Bulletin magazine Dmitry Fesenko, member of the Union of Moscow Architects and the MOSMA Council, curator of the All-Russian festival of young architects Perspektiva Rustam Kerimov, architecture critic, special correspondent of the Expert magazine Alexei Shchukin, laureate of the State Prize of Moscow, Honored Worker of the Moscow Committee for Architecture and Construction Dmitry Vasilchenko.

One of the features of the complex of topics for defending diplomas in July 2020 was their diversity: the “amplitude” of understanding environmental issues reached a scale from a scrupulous engineering study of the details of a one-room apartment to a conceptual picture of large inner-city and natural areas. This variability is difficult not only for a thoughtful assessment of the examination committee, but also for the scenario building of the defense of works, the assessment of the design boundaries in each individual case. However, it is this aspect that is extremely important for emphasizing one of the main declared principles of professional education at the Department of Architectural Environment and Design at B&D: the versatility of a specialist.

The route begins in Voskresensk, from where it goes downstream along both banks of the Moskva River, capturing various points of attraction: natural and historical attractions, architecture, religious sites, parks and entertainment. The route ends in Kolomna, at the confluence of two rivers. The route is designed for two days and consists of several sections, which tourists overcome by bicycle, on foot and by boat. The implementation of the project will contribute to the preservation of the architectural and spatial environment of small towns and increase their tourist image.

Renovation of the environment of the Belomorsk Biological Station named after N. A. Pertsova

Anna Shamaeva

The improvement concept was developed for the Belomorsk Biological Station named after ON. Pertsov - a legendary place, the world's largest isolated marine biological station. The main idea of the project is to develop a system of modules designed from prefabricated structural insulating panels (SIP). Combinations of six types of modules allow you to design residential, public and technical premises, as well as small architectural forms.

While some modules form functional structures, others form chambered public areas - for example, raised above the ground arbors on wooden decking, located in picturesque places on the shore of the strait. The complex assumes different scenarios - from conversations around the fire, to working sessions at a common table or lectures in the open air.

The station has a large number of floating crafts designed for both economic and scientific-practical work. For their storage, an ensemble of small rectangular slipways located on the coastline is proposed. The large boathouse is a one-story building with boat parking and storage space for inflatable boats and outboard motors. The second floor of small boathouses can be used as a warehouse for oceanological "outboard" equipment or as a living room.

Improvement of the Church Hill and Raketny Boulevard

Margarita Katina

Rocket Boulevard near Moscow Tserkovnaya Gorka Street, the author of the project proposes to turn it into a theme park "Alekseevskoye Village": once there was a large village here, the Kopytovka River flowed, now buried underground in a sewer, the temple of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God has been preserved.

The central idea is to excavate the river and make it the basis for all-season landscaping with various functional areas: waiting areas, cafes, trade, playgrounds and sports grounds. The perimeters of the houses, found on the 1952 map, will form the basis for benches and flower beds.

Design project of the interiors of an apartment in the Narkomfin House

Anastasia Egorova

To demonstrate the project, cell No. 37 was chosen - a two-level apartment with three functional zones, which was developed in the best traditions of transformers and space saving. The interior is inspired by the ideas of constructivism: there are stringer structures, concrete in the decoration, on the front door - an exact copy of the original handle of the 30s, a notable storage system in the podium called "Stophlam" - automated modules that work using a mobile application. To find an item, you need to open the application, enter the desired item into the search, after which the system will work and the desired locker will open. The technologies used in the project can reduce costs and maintain a long life cycle of things.

Design project of the festival "Intermuseum"

Yulia Brindarova

The 2020 Intermuseum festival is dedicated to the work of museums to preserve and restore cultural heritage sites during hostilities, as well as to preserve the memory of the Great Patriotic War. The found image - packaging in the form of wooden boxes - reproduces the atmosphere of the war years. All elements of the festival space are made of them: pavilions, a stage, information stands, as well as an entrance group with silhouettes of exhibits.
