From August 25, anyone can offer their own price for a building designed by MVRDV bureau. A price of 2.5 million euros has been announced, but this is more not about raising the price, but about notifying all interested parties about the possibility of a purchase.
The object type is designated as a "building plot" of 5541 sq. M. m, in "unfinished building" condition.
In 2000, it was the pavilion of the Netherlands that was recognized as the most architecturally significant of all the exhibition facilities. In 2001, a project for its further use appeared, but in fact, the construction is slowly falling into disrepair. They were going to put it up for sale back in 2004, the obstacle was the almost zero economic value of the building.
