The experts examined three residential buildings on Bolshaya Serpukhovskaya Street, 46, buildings 9, 13 and 15 (OJSC "Mosproekt", architect V.V. Stepanov). On the territory of strictly regulated development, by order of the Moscow Government, it is planned to build a complex of municipal housing with a gradual increase in buildings from the main street to the periphery. The hulls are made, as noted by those present, in accordance with all the recommendations and have no complaints about the volume. Buildings 15 and 9 passed without comment, but the facade of the building overlooking B. Serpukhovskaya seemed not quite organic to the architecture of the street, which "is made in a fairly good Stalinist architecture and is still alive." The authors of the project were asked to make several other "more adapted" options for its solution.

The project of restoration and regeneration of buildings with adaptation for the hotel complex "Sheremetevskoe Podvorie" is part of the projects for the 5th quarter of Kitai-Gorod, the general concept of which was considered at one of the recent meetings of the OERG. This concept has a complex background; over the past years, a certain amount of "unauthorized construction" has arisen in the quarter - however, now the general task has been approved, and again the turn of individual projects from different investors has come. Sheremetevskoe Podvorie will include several buildings located at the intersection of Nikolskaya (10 / 2A, 2B) and Bolshoy Cherkassky Lane (4, 1, p. 1 A), it is designed by Zhilproekt LLC (architect MD Kirzhakova).

The project, however, is somewhat "outdated" - the fact is that on Wednesday, the day before the meeting, at the architectural council under the chief architect of Moscow, it was decided to put many of the buildings located here on guard. Consequently, the hotel project has now become part of a protected ensemble from being simply introduced into the historical building.

"Sheremetevskoe Podvorye" will take about a quarter of a block. The new building, reminiscent of the letter "G" in plan, will pass through its middle, fixing its ends on Nikolskaya and B. Cherkassky. The part of the building cut off by this corner includes several buildings of the 19th century. - in fact, their status of their protection was raised at the arch council the day before the discussion of the OERG.

At the previous consideration by the working group, the authors of "Sheremetevsky Podvorye" were recommended to lower the number of storeys in the tallest building of the complex - now it has 7 floors instead of 8, and the upper floor is attic. Now we are talking about removing the protruding tower and technical structures that appear in the panorama of Red Square and the Kremlin. After a long discussion, the experts decided to ask V. Resin about a special consideration of this area of ​​Kitai-Gorod, and the author of the project was recommended to respond to the wishes to reduce the number of storeys, which would "improve the view of the Kremlin."

The project of a new building at the beginning of Bakuninskaya street, presented further by the workshop of Yuri Vissarionov. (houses 1-3), which should take the place of the giant gray ATS, built in the 1960s by the architect Rosenfeld. This project was recently considered by a working group and was rejected due to its high altitude - then it completely repeated the dimensions of the existing PBX, completely replacing it in space. On April 19, experts found the demolition of the station a good reason to return the urban space of the German Quarter, at least in part, to its former modest height - and advised the authors to expand the volume of the building “in breadth”. Then, at the architectural council, it was recommended to change the office function to residential apartments.

Now the height has been lowered from 75 to 54 meters, and two options were shown.The opinions of experts were divided - some believed that there had been no significant changes in the project and its dominant was on a par with the Yelokhovsky temple and the Church of St. at the intersection of streets, a height volume is required. As a result, we agreed that it was necessary to remove a couple more floors and limit the height of the project to the existing building - that is, “about 47 m”. “If the building is high-rise, it should be interesting and better than the existing one” - with these words the experts turned to the architecture of the project. Of the options presented, we chose "more rectangular" and not himself, but his sub-version, without an overhanging volume. We recommended to work out this composition and to present its booklet and scan in working order; it was decided to re-submit the project to Alexander Kuzmin.

The project of construction and reconstruction of ROSZDRAV buildings at Timur Frunze, 16 (OOO Yugproektstroy, architect ZV Moseev) is located in a strictly regulated development area. The building stands at the corner of Chudova Lane and is a fairly ordinary building model. According to the current project, it remains almost unchanged and is built on with two full-fledged floors and one technical one - a dental clinic will be located there. Experts noted the project as a good example of organic integration into historical buildings and - “which is so rare” - social orientation, although, frankly, it is difficult to recognize a dental clinic as a completely social matter.
