In January, at the international furniture fair in Cologne IMM Cologne 2014, UMA presented a new direction JUMA Exclusive, which is designed to meet the needs of adherents of non-standard solutions in the bathroom and spa. The shower in the form of a cobra 2.4 m high and weighing 1.5 tons is made of two blocks of Jurassic marble from the own quarries of the UMA company using high-quality fittings for showers and elements for seat heating and lighting. JUMAMBA - as the shower / bath combination is called - is intended to change the traditional perception of natural stone and make it a desirable element of modern living culture.
This exhibit became the most photographed at the exhibition and was highly praised in the final report of the famous interior designer Thorsten Müller "Design of private spas: natural stone in a completely new way". He is convinced that the trend of returning to the use of natural materials in home decoration as an oasis of comfort and relaxation will grow. According to the designer, thanks to its structure, natural stone evokes positive emotions, and as if created by nature for its use in bathrooms and spas and housing in general.
To embody this idea and a new interpretation of stone in the interior, JUMA offers not only its Jurassic marble, but also natural
stone of other colors and structures. For example, the elegant bathtub with a "timeless" design from the JUMASSIF series is made of white, gray-veined Blanco Macael marble.
The products of the new JUMA-Exclusive line are made according to the customer's sizes, while allowing to combine natural material, modern designer solutions and exclusivity. JUSOCCER, an unusual football boot-shaped bathtub, is another prime example of this symbiosis:
High-quality worktops, smokers, flooring and wall coverings round out the portfolio of the new JUMA-Exclusive range.
