Building with a useful area of 5600 sq. m designed
Kazyuo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa from SANAA Tokyo Bureau. The seven-story building appears to be made of white boxes, not
too neatly placed one on top of the other: they are displaced in different directions relative to the central axis.
"Boxes" will be faced with galvanized
steel, from the windows in the walls and ceiling will
wonderful views of the city open up. The new facility will double the exhibition space of the existing 26-year-old museum building.
