The winners of the "Crystal Daedalus" -2009 today were announced the authors of the building of the Moscow school No. 1414, the "ARST" bureau (K. M. Konovaltsev, GAP - O. K. Konovaltsev, chief designer - A. Rubinstein; architect - Tishchenko O. N.; Customer: OJSC "Moskapstroy", CJSC "UKS-5". The project is charming, but hardly worthy of being the main architectural event of the year. It is curious that last spring it was nominated for the "Golden Section" award, but did not even enter there among the nominees.
As for the rest, gold, silver and bronze diplomas were awarded to all those projects and buildings that were shown in this capacity at the Zodchestvo stands. These stands, as it turned out, did not show the nominees for silver and gold, but the most that neither is the laureates - who, thus, were identified and announced even before the start of the festival.
Thus, only the "Crystal Daedalus" itself was the intrigue of the award ceremony.
Gold diplomas were awarded to: a hotel on Ostrovsky Square, Evgeny Gerasimov, school No. 1414 (laureate of "Daedalus") and "Danilovsky Fort" by Sergei Skuratov. Sergei Skuratov was also awarded a silver medal for Barkli Plaza and a medal for architectural skill.
