The customer for the bottle design was the Austrian winemaker Leo Hillinger. This glass container will be filled with the 2009 Icon Hill red wine, with a total of 999 bottles produced.
When working, Hadid was inspired by the shape of the drops. Among other things, bottles, each of which relies on a special box, thanks to the curved walls, can be locked together by inserting them into each other.
For the London gallery of David Gill, the architect created another piece of furniture from the Liquid Glacial series: this is a plexiglass table measuring 260 x 160 x 74.5 cm imitating water funnels, but at the same time its surface is absolutely smooth - despite the illusion of "bubbling".
For the German shipbuilders Blohm + Voss, among whose creations is Roman Abramovich's Eclipse, Zaha Hadid has developed five design options for a 90-meter yacht, as well as a prototype for a 128-meter vessel. They all received "exoskeletons" inspired by marine fauna and the movement of water masses.
On the one hand, the customers received from the architect a "total design" thought out to the last detail, on the other hand, Hadid yachts can be tailored to the wishes of a particular buyer. Recall that these are not the first ships of the British architect: earlier she created a project of a speedboat for the American art dealer Kenny Shackter.
