The ensemble, tentatively named "International Tourist Complex", will occupy the territory of a large oxygen station and a boiler house, and industrial buildings will be preserved: cafes, art galleries and theater halls will be located there.
Free space will be divided into two zones: mountains and waters, according to the principle of Chinese landscape painting Shan Shui. In the center, connecting the two halves, the towers of Earth and Water will be erected. On the "water", the northern territory, canals will be dug, residential buildings of various sizes, including "Lantern Towers", inspired by ancient stone lanterns on Lake Xihu (Hangzhou is on its banks) will be built. Solar panels on the facades of these towers will generate energy to illuminate buildings at night.
In the southern, "earthly" zone, buildings under green roofs will house a hotel, restaurants and cafes; their multifaceted shapes are designed to mimic the elements of the landscape.
