It is planned to build a new skyscraper at the intersection of major transport routes of city-wide importance. Now there is only an exit from the subway, but in the near future a whole vertical city will rise above the metro station, which will include offices, shopping centers and a hotel, as well as a bus station. Thus, the skyscraper will become a kind of transport and interchange hub, from which it will be possible to immediately go up to the place of work, shopping or … to the garden.
The undisputed highlight of the future construction promises to be "green pockets" - gardens created right on the facade of the high-rise. To place them, architects make deep triangular notches in the building at different heights. The entrance to the complex from the ground level is organized in a similar way. “It is no coincidence that we called this project Interchange (translated from English -“interchange”,“intersection”,“interchange”), since our skyscraper is precisely the interaction of many different functions and types of spaces - urban and natural, horizontal and vertical, transport, habitable and worker,”say the architects.
The versatility of the building becomes a guarantee of rational use of energy: during the day, offices and shops consume maximum energy, in the evening - shops and a hotel. The project also provides for the use of a variety of energy efficient technologies and solar panels.
