A rectangular plot on the eastern outskirts of Rostov-on-Don has been allocated for the construction of a new quarter. It is located between residential buildings and a large forest park and is bounded by streets only on two sides, so the authors of the project from the very beginning tried to emphasize in the architectural solution of the complex its exceptional proximity to the natural massif. This desire also coincided with the provisions of the TOR: the customer asked as many apartments as possible to focus specifically on the forest park, so the work on the master plan began with the search for the optimal configuration and location of the volumes.

The task, however, was greatly complicated by the high building density - on the threshold of the park zone, the architects had to place not neat townhouses, but multi-storey multi-section buildings. That is why some options for the location of volumes on the site were shallowed by the architects almost immediately: for example, the towers did not give the required outlet for the squares, and the buildings that had the shape of corners did not cope with this task. Then the Asadovs tried to build up the site along the perimeter, rounding the corners and making several internal “bridges” in the resulting "amoeba", but with such a layout, too many apartments were oriented to closed courtyards. At the next stage of the search, the “amoeba” was turned inside out, so that it had “tentacle” sections facing the park, but this did not solve the problem of the courtyard (now, however, one and large one), so another necessary step was the rupture shells into several separate segments. Thus, several internal, but not closed courtyards appeared in the residential complex, and the houses themselves acquired a dynamic and varied form.

If you look at the final master plan, the quarter seems to consist of several letters and numbers, written with separate sticks, and striving to disperse in different directions. The houses are arranged in two lines, but due to their unusual zigzag shape, they seem to be shifted relative to each other, and the space between them clearly resembles a labyrinth. Moreover, a very green labyrinth - the architects preserve the maximum amount of vegetation here in order to make the courtyards open towards the natural complex cozy and at the same time emphasize the interpenetration of the residential quarter and the park zone. The chosen width of the residential buildings - which is only 15.2 meters, helps the architects to so generously green the courtyard areas, make them pedestrianized and fill them with playgrounds and sports grounds, it allows to provide all apartments with insolation (with two-way orientation) and to make the minimum number of fire passages. Parking lots are prudently located along the outer perimeter of the site - along the existing streets.

The principle of the shift extends to the architectural solution of the complex: the three central floors of each ten-story building are inserted into the main volume at a different angle. This central section is also highlighted with the help of color: it is faced with dark bricks if the house itself is light, and, conversely, light if the main facade is designed in a dark range. The architects formed by sliding the console are painted orange or light green (the same bright shades are present in the design of the entrance lobbies and niches of the evacuation stairs), and the released fragments of the roofs of the lower sections are used for planting plants. The dynamic architectural image is complemented by gables imitating a pitched roof, as well as a variety of brickwork used - in one case, it is deliberately licked, "under plaster", in another, the bricks are turned at an angle of 45 degrees, in the third, recesses are made in a checkerboard pattern. With the help of these textured inserts, architects emphasize the window openings, alternating horizontal and vertical walls.

The ground floors of all five houses are designed as non-residential: in addition to the entrance lobbies with concierge and security rooms and rooms for storing strollers and bicycles, there are areas for rent. It is assumed that they will house various services and shops, which will not only make the new residential area convenient for future residents, but also help the complex become an integral part of this area of the city.
