The 35-story Jameson House tower has appeared in the historic center of the city. Its base is docked with two small buildings from the 1920s; of one, however, only the facade has survived.
The first two floors of the building are occupied by shops, continuing the shopping area on the lower tiers of neighboring houses. Above are 10 floors of offices with a flat curtain wall of the façade; they end at the level of the eaves of the surrounding buildings, subject to their scale.
Above there are 23 floors of apartments: this part of the building protrudes above the office "base". Moreover, its main façade is completely occupied by four semicircular "bay windows" arranged in a curved line so as not to obstruct the views and sunlight of the surrounding structures. The spaces in the "bay windows" are occupied by living rooms; at Jameson House, the interiors were also handled by the architects of Foster's workshop, which is not often the case in such large projects. The tower is completed by a two-storey penthouse and a roof with landscaped terraces.
In the underground part of the building there is a garage with an automatic parking mechanism. This made it possible to save on its size, lighting, etc.
