“Under the Roof of a House” is one of the most authoritative exhibitions in Moscow, held in the famous exhibition hall “House on Brestskaya”. Every year the exhibition brings together the best international and Russian designers. Traditionally, the festival program includes a competition for professional works in the field of construction and interior design.
Great interest of professionals and visitors was aroused by the projects Suburb "Western Valley", implemented by the company "Zagorodny Proekt", and "Active House" - the result of the joint work of the Danish company VELUX and the development company "Zagorodny Proekt". The projects were presented respectively in the nominations "Cottage Village" and "Realized Country House".
The jury of the competition included such masters of Russian architecture and architectural criticism as the head of the SPeeCH architectural workshop Sergey Kuznetsov, the head of the personal workshop, professor of the Russian Academy of Architecture Boris Levyant, the head of the personal workshop, vice-president of the Moscow Union of Architects Nikolai Lyzlov, professor of the International Academy of Architecture Plotkin Vladimir, editor of the department of architecture of the magazine "Mezzanine" Evgenia Gershkovich, architectural critic Nikolai Malinin and others.
According to the results of the competition, both projects were awarded with diplomas.
