The European Property Awards is a stage in the International Property Awards, which has been awarded since 1995. It covers the best residential and commercial developments in all countries, including Europe and the Middle East, the United States and South America, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region. Each of them has its own round of the competition, and the winning objects automatically become nominees for the International Property Awards. This year, the summing up of the results of the international award will take place in December, but so far the best European projects and buildings have been named in London. In total, a competent jury of more than 60 architects, journalists and experts in the field of real estate noted 30 objects in four nominations - "Architecture", "Interior", "Development" and "Company in the field of real estate". Each of the nominations, in turn, had subcategories - for example, the award for the best architectural solution was awarded separately to projects of residential complexes and single-family cottages, office centers, hotel complexes and multifunctional complex.
The award for the best architecture of a residential complex (Best Architecture Multiple Residence) was received by the Architectural Workshop of Sergey Estrin for the project of the Borneo apartment building in Novorossiysk. This complex, designed in the forms of bionic architecture, is an inverted "drop" or arch, and its facades of double-curved light green glass are braided with aluminum "ropes" passed through the openings of the terraces. As Sergey Estrin told us, the house was originally designed as an image object that could become the hallmark of the resort town and change the Novorossiysk elite housing market. In addition to the effective plastic solution, the house will favorably differ from its surroundings by the modern technologies used in the project. In particular, all of its terraces are supposed to be landscaped, and the "braid" will be used to accommodate LED lighting, which will help make the new volume a noticeable landmark in the city's panorama not only during the day, but also at night.
And if "Borneo" was awarded the highest award in its category - "Five stars" (Five stars award), then another Russian project -
residential house "Granatny, 6" of the architectural bureau "SPEECH Choban & Kuznetsov" - received in it a special diploma, the so-called "Honorable mention of the jury". But in the nomination "The best architecture of an office complex" "SPEECH Choban & Kuznetsov" were the best - "Five stars" was awarded to the office center on Leninsky Prospekt. This building with a “wave” on the main facade stands out against the general Moscow background not only for its restrained-elegant architecture, but also for its full compliance with European standards for energy-efficient design, for which it has repeatedly received prestigious professional awards. Architect Sergei Tchoban came to London to receive the European Property Awards.
