At the Orgatec exhibition, which took place in Cologne from 23 to 27 October 2012, on an exhibition space of over 1,500 square meters. Vitra introduced the Workspirit program, new concepts and products for the workspaces of the future. Together with Cisco, the Swiss furniture company presented products and ideas for implementing telecom and web conferencing systems. These solutions are the result of a new collaboration that leverages the office design capabilities of both companies. Vitra is exhibiting at Orgatec a work area designed specifically for video conferencing. A tilting table opposite the Cisco Profile 65 Dual TelePresence System provides all participants with an unobstructed view of the two monitors in the system. In addition, the shape of the table keeps all conference participants in focus of the TV camera. Subtle colors ensure the highest picture quality; the optimization of the materials used ensures the clarity of the sound Belux lighting systems create optimal room illumination and authentic color reproduction.
Teleconference work area
The new Workbays system of designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec makes it possible to design aesthetically sophisticated and secluded areas even within a rigid office structure, without resorting to isolating people behind closed doors. Typically used for offline meetings, Workbays Retreat XL can be combined with the Cisco TelePresence MX200 Television System. The subdued color scheme of Workbays systems provides a visually optimal video conferencing space. Polyester fleece with good acoustic properties guarantees the best attainable sound quality for interference-free video conferencing.
Teleconferences for managers
The video conferencing format is especially attractive to the management team, which is why Vitra is presenting a layout especially for managers using the Cisco TelePresence System EX90 system. This system has already found its place in the high-end market segment, providing excellent conference quality.
