Wienerberger is looking for the best! Buildings made from materials of any manufacturer (ceramic blocks, facing bricks, ceramic tiles, ceramic facade panels) can be nominated for the prize of the International Competition for Brick Architecture. Each participant will receive a colorful Brick'12 album as a gift.
Ladies and gentlemen, We offer you to nominate architectural objects for participation in the sixth international competition for the best brick buildings Wienerberger Brick Award 2014 and for publication in the Brick'2014 album.
Objects are invited to participate in the architecture of which ceramic building materials are used for walls, facades, roofs or sidewalks. Both low-rise and high-rise buildings built both outside the city and in the urban environment can be nominated for the award. A separate category is provided for energy-efficient structures that develop the principles of sustainable architecture, as well as buildings with an expressive architectural appearance created using pitched roofs.

Nominated properties must meet the following requirements:
• A significant part of the project must be implemented from ceramic blocks, facing bricks, ceramic paving stones, ceramic tiles, ceramic facade panels (any of the materials can be used) of any manufacturer.
• Completion date: 2011 or later
• New buildings, outbuildings, reconstructions
• Energy efficient and sustainable construction
• Projects should improve the quality of life of people
• Responsible and sustainable approach to architecture
How to nominate an object?
For each project, you must send three photos / layouts, any available information (media article, project description, other nominations) and a questionnaire with key data by March 22, 2013. Please pay special attention to the fact that only projects that can be published in the Brick'14 album and other publications about the competition are allowed to participate.
