The closed competition for the concept of an architectural and urban planning solution for the public and recreational complex "Tverskaya Zastava" was initiated by the chief architect of Moscow, Sergei Kuznetsov, and was conducted by AFI RUS LLC (the role of the customer was taken over by Avtostoyanka Tverskaya Zastava LLC). Five architectural bureaus participated in the competition: Project Meganom, Asadov Architectural Bureau, ADM arhitects, Sergey Kiselev and Partners and Ostozhenka. The architects were tasked with creating a bright, attractive image for both citizens and the business community, organically fit it into the surrounding buildings, while improving the quality of the urban environment and also avoiding the deterioration of the transport situation in this (and without that, as you know, famous for its traffic jams) area. Work on competition projects began on February 28, the results were summed up on April 26.
The competition committee selected three of the five concepts, assigning them a rating from one to three, for submission to the investor for approval. We are publishing three winning projects.
