The complex of 161 apartments on the right bank of the Spree, in the harbor of Osthaven, near the Elsenbrücke bridge, is made up of two buildings. They form a mirrored, almost completely symmetrical composition. This part of the embankment is now accessible to pedestrians, which makes the path along the water more convenient. The office building of the HHF bureau is located nearby, a little further - the headquarters of Coca-Cola and the nhow hotel, by Tchoban Voss Architekten. Across the river - the sculpture "Molecular Man", a large-scale business complex Treptowers, diagonally - the famous "pool barge".
Wave includes a small dock in the center, and opposite it, the beveled inner corners of the hulls form a small square with a public passage leading from the river.
Water facade
expectedly inspired by shipbuilding ideas, with streamlined terraces reminiscent of liners. From the side of the city, which is dominated by regular buildings from the late 19th century, the buildings look more restrained, although there are sloping balconies and bay windows that allow you to see the TV tower from a northwest perspective.

The complex has studios and "one and a half" dwellings with a living room and a bedroom (27-40 m2) apartments with 2-5 bedrooms (44-156 m2). The tenants of the mezzanine tier have their own gardens, as do the owners of the penthouses (206-296 m2), who got the space on the roof. But there are also public areas upstairs for all of Wave's inhabitants, including the "garden plots." The total area of the complex is 16 thousand m2, useful area - 13 thousand m2.
