It is no secret that today ceramic tiles are a truly revolutionary material that conceals unlimited potential of possibilities and allows you to bring to life the most daring creative ideas. The purpose of this competition is to attract the attention of a professional audience to the products of the Spanish ceramic industry, as well as to search for new creative solutions in the field of using ceramic coatings.
The competition has an international status - architects and designers from different countries can take part in it. The jury must be presented with author's projects that use the products of Spanish ceramic tile manufacturers. Contestants will compete in three nominations: "Architecture", "Interior" and "Graduation Project". The total prize fund is 39,000 euros. The size of the prize in the categories "Architecture" and "Interior decoration" - 17,000 euros, in the category of diploma projects - 5,000 euros.
The international jury will include world-renowned architects and designers. The head of the panel of judges this year will be one of the founders of the Emilio Tugnon Prize - winner of the Gold Medal for his contribution to the fine arts, awarded to him by the Ministry of Culture of Spain.
Both completely new objects and projects for restoration and restoration, as well as interesting theses will be able to compete for the first prize. The location of the object does not matter, the main thing is that the Spanish ceramic coatings are one of the main elements in its implementation.
