Russian company "Polymer-Project" presents an exclusive method of treating industrial tanks using polyphia - a compound that is resistant to chemical attack. Surface preparation and further spraying is carried out in strict accordance with the innovative SPI technology.
This type of treatment is called tank lining. This is a set of procedures aimed at creating protection of a tank or other container from corrosion and other types of impact - mechanical, chemical, physical. Most often today, the lining of containers and galvanic containers with the help of polyethylene or plastic is used - the sheets are applied over the base, and the joints are welded. But in the most vulnerable places of such protection, sooner or later, cracks will appear, especially in the presence of increased pressure. Thus, the reservoir will cease to be complete, and its use will become impossible.
The famous American laboratory SPI has created a unique compound - polyurea, or polyphioria, which is resistant to various chemicals. Such protection is suitable for tanks intended for storing oil or products from it, alkali or 50% sulfuric acid solution. Polyphioria can be stretched up to 300% without losing its ability to adhere to metal or concrete surfaces. This compound is sprayed with a layer of 2-3 millimeters, the process of forming a polymer from polyurea lasts no more than 10 seconds.
"Polymer-Project" - the only company in Russia that performs tank lining using polyphyory using SPI technology (USA). Special equipment based on the company makes it possible to apply protection to containers of about 750 m2 in one shift. As a result, the tank is filled with a seamless layer of polymer that can withstand abrasion, chemical and physical stress for decades.
