The object is intended for the center of Moscow - a site in Pryamy pereulok, near Novy Arbat. According to the authors of the project, their work continues the tradition of accent building typical for this area. In addition, the building facing the main facade of the lane is intended to restore the perimeter buildings of its quarter.
The location in the central part of the capital determined the "solidity" of the facade solution: natural stone and patinated copper were chosen for them. The "wing" with the image of butterflies that gave the name to the hotel is made of this metal: it protrudes into the space of the alley, attracting the attention of the townspeople.
The main entrance to the hotel is through a narrow two-story atrium overlooking a gallery with cafe tables. Insolation analysis of the site dictated a patio solution with a spreading tree that gives shade.
The hotel has 49 rooms, each of which has a French balcony and a small window for ventilation. The restaurant with a terrace on the top floor allows guests to admire the panorama of the city overlooking the Moskva River and the hotel "Ukraine".
At the Butterfly Hotel, each guest will be provided with a business-class car for the entire duration of his stay at the hotel, therefore, each room in the underground parking lot has a parking space that can be opened with a card key to the room.
