The complex was created from four buildings in the very center of Paris, near the Stock Exchange. The buildings of different times, which until recently constituted one of the offices of the bank Crédit Lyonnais, have now been turned into a single complex, which also includes two facades of the 19th century, which are architectural monuments. Naturally, they were not touched, but only the frames remained from the rest of the facades during the reconstruction, and the structure of the buildings was completely changed. Now in all buildings the floors are on the same level, which made it possible to create spacious free-plan office premises with a width of 18 m or 21 m and an area of up to 3000 m2.
The theme of the project was light: it gets inside not only through the large windows of the street facades, but also through the system of courtyards around which the premises of the complex are organized. The main courtyard consists of three parts: a glazed atrium, an intermediate zone and an open-air space.
The # CLOUD. PARIS business center for 2,500 employees (total area 38,000 m2) was renovated with a budget of about 100 million euros. The project has received three eco-certificates: HQE Exceptionnel, BREEAM Excellent and LEED Gold.
