The Structural Awards have been presented annually since 1968 to the best in structural design. This year, the organizers noted the high level of the buildings presented and the difficulty of choosing the best ones, however, after a long discussion, the jury managed to form a list of outstanding engineering solutions from around the world for 2015. The buildings were rated in 12 categories. The winners will be announced on November 11 at a gala ceremony in London.
Below are the brightest objects included in the shortlist. The full list of nominees is presented on the award website.
