The three-tiered pitch / pitch structure is designed for unused spaces: with its help, the architects hope to bring football back to the city center, where there is little space for sports fields. While it is planned to implement such buildings in London, but in the future, they may appear in other cities of the world.
A multi-tiered field can be erected for two weeks, for example, during the World Cup, or it can occupy a vacant lot for a whole year until it finds another use.
The modular Pitch / Pitch structure will be made of carbon fiber. This popular light weight material AL_A was first used for its temporary pavilion in Melbourne in 2015.
For the project, developed by AL_A in collaboration with Arup engineers, they are now looking for ways of financing and implementation.
